PULSE ENTERTAINMENT EXPANDS EXECUTIVE MANAGEMENT TEAM
Telecommunication and content expertise bolsters global expansion

• San Francisco CA Pulse Entertainment, the leading provider of user-generated mobile messaging and entertainment services, today announced the expansion of its senior management team including the appointment of a new Chief Executive Officer, Vice President of Business Development, and President.

  Paul Anderson, who previously served the company in a sales consulting capacity, has been named Chief Executive Officer of Pulse Entertainment. Anderson has extensive international media and telecommunications industry experience having previously led Openwave's Asia-Pacific operations and then managing that company's mobile infrastructure product group. Anderson is also a veteran of several technology start-ups as well as more than 10 years with Adobe Systems where he founded their first Japanese office.

  The company has also named Jim McLaughlin as Vice President of Business Development to manage sales and mobile carrier relationships in North America. McLaughlin's extensive wireless industry experience includes previous stints as VP of Business Development at Oasys Mobile, and as a top sales executive at Cingular and Bellsouth Wireless Data. McLaughlin has a long history of success in developing and launching new wireless brands and publishing multi-million dollar games and applications in the US market.

  Finally, Jeff Lipton, previously SVP of Products and Services with Pulse Entertainment, has been promoted to the position of President. Lipton will continue to manage product development and marketing and is also responsible for EMEA business development and sales activities. Lipton is a serial entrepreneur and start-up veteran with a 15 year history in the creative media and software industries.
